Default Introduction and some simple work

Hi,

Well I'm hoping to make the move to engraving soon, been doing some scrimshaw using microdot technique and thought I'd put up one of my practice pieces. It's a Celtic Trinity knot on an old elephant ivory piano key top. I use them for practice and simple trinkets, they are too brittle for really fine work but they are nice to practice or try new designs on. Anyway I'm saving my $$ for an airgraver and/or selling stuff for it. Hopefully I'll have things set up soon. I built my own bench from shop scraps, I have an old engravers ball vise and a 20x inspection scope and nice stand I picked up on ebay some time ago. I got an old Jen-Air compressor from a airbrush artist that needed $$ and have most of the knicks and nacks I need other than the airgraver...so...

Anyway, Hi to everyone out there, I hope to be posting engraving work soon.
